DESTREHAN — St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne and St. Charles Parish Triad/ S.A.L.T. Council invite seniors from St. Charles Parish to attend Triad’s Senior Day.

The event takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 16 at Jerusalem Shrine Center, 1940 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan.

Lunch will be served, and free health screenings, breast cancer awareness tips, door prizes, entertainment and flu shots will be available.

Organizers ask participants to bring all unused and expired medications to be disposed of safely, helping protect community members and the environment.
