Nancy Holmes Hoover, 51, died on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014.

She was the beloved wife of Chris Hoover; step-mother of Jeremy (Candace) and Kristi Hoover and The late Brandon Hoover; step-grandmother of Carley, Jace, Gabrielle, Kaydence and Kelsey; daughter of Enos Holmes and the late Fannie Lou (Frankie) Diffee; sister of Arlin Holmes, Charlotte Davis and Janet Kellum (Randy); aunt of Stephen Davis and Amanda Marotti.

She was a native of Alabama and a resident of Ponchatoula. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services.

Visitation will be at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 1 to 4 p.m., followed by religious services in the Funeral Home Chapel at 4 p.m.

Burial will follow in St. John Memorial Gardens in LaPlace.
