DESTREHAN — Destrehan High School announced that Kayla Ceasar is a 2015 National Achievement Scholarship Program Semifinalist.

Kayla is the daughter of David and Leah Ceaser. She is a member of the Advanced Studies program, Beta Club, National Honor Society and the show choir. She has been taking studio dance classes for 12 years and is active in her church youth group.

She plans to major in engineering or communications but is unsure about her choice for college. Ceasar is a resident of Montz.
