LAPLACE — The tradition of making rosaries in fourth grade at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School lives on.

For decades, students in fourth grade at SJA have made rosaries in preparation for the Month of the Rosary in October.

This year’s students created rosaries out of beads they selected to make their own special rosaries, which will be blessed at an upcoming school Mass.

They had the assistance of parents and grandparents to complete the project.
