Hilda Ordeneaux Gilbert, 87, a native of Lutcher, passed away Sept. 17, 2014.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Robert “Bob” Gilbert, children and their spouses: Kenneth and Virginia Gilbert of Lutcher, Gary Gilbert of St. Amant and Bonnie and Bennie Schilling of Prairieville.

She also leaves behind a sister and brother-in-law, Jeannette O. and Alan Duhe of Gramercy, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Georgejane Ordeneaux, brothers: Allen, Leonard, Floyd and Larry Ordeneaux, daughter Diane G. Moran, daughter-in-law Susanna D. Gilbert and son-in-law Robert Moran.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 19, at Rose Lynn Funeral Home, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Mass will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Paulina at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
