LAPLACE — Principal Andrew Cupit announced St. Charles Catholic High School earned continuing accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), an accreditation division of AdvancED.

St. Charles Catholic High School has been accredited since 1980.

SACS CASI provides nationally-recognized accreditation, the purpose of which is continuous school improvement focused on increasing student performance.

“Accreditation demonstrates to our students, parents and community that we are focused on raising student achievement, providing a safe and enriching learning environment, and maintaining an efficient and effective operation staffed by highly qualified educators,” Cupit said.

The external review committee assigned to St. Charles Catholic High School pointed out the rare distinction of scoring over 300 points in all three of the domains for the Index of Education Quality. The Index of Education Quality comprises three domains: Teaching and Learning Impact, Leadership Capacity, and Resource Utilization.
