Barbara Elizabeth Everett, 57, died in her home on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014.

She was born on April 14, 1957, to the late Walter and Gaila Everett of LaPlace.

She is survived by her husband Lionel Thomas of 33 years; her children Thomas Nassar, Christina Everett and Lionel Everett; her grandchildren De’Myron Alexander and Starr Blue; as well as four sisters Linda Everett, Gaila Brandon, Michele Becnel, and Jamie Madere.

Everett is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother and beloved sister. Her loved ones mourn her deeply and her loss leaves a great void in the lives of those she left behind.

Friends and family may remember her on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at Alexander Funeral Home, 821 4th St. in Norco from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
