I know I’ll see the sun shine bright upon my baby’s face … when I finally get to Heaven, all my pain will be erased. We’ll soar the skies together, as angels two by two … we’ll have a sweet reunion, this mother’s dream come true.

Alizabeth Irene Chauvin was born on July 31, 2014, at 1:25 p.m., to parents, Brandon Chauvin and Barbara Willie. She weighed 2 lbs., 4 oz. and was 13.75 inches long.

Although we knew Alizabeth’s life here with us would be short, we were blessed deeply by the time we had with her. We waited for her birth with hopeful expectation and were honored to hold her close as she passed from our arms into the arms of Jesus after 46 beautiful and unforgettable minutes.

She is a little sister to Samantha and Savannah and will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Alizabeth is loved by her grandparents Mike and Lori Chauvin and Cindy Ottesen; aunts and uncles, Cynthia and Ron Fitzgerald, Kahne and Tommy Blount, Stephanie Crawford, Ellis and Sherry Willie, Scott Chauvin, Whtilee Vicknair, Addisyn Chauvin, Morgan Ottesen, Jillian Ottesen, Lauren Ottesen; great-grandmothers Iris Poche and Mildred Chauvin, and many cousins and other extended family members; as well as her special godmothers Amanda Ross, Mandy Sharon, Jennifer LeBlanc and Ashleigh Edwards.

She was welcomed in Heaven by grandparents Earl and Betty Willie, great-grandparents Ellis and Irene Willie, Ola and Milton Lashley, Alfred Chauvin and Walace Poche.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 2:00 p.m. at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher. Visitation will begin at noon.

Things we cannot change end up changing us forever!
