Maurice J. Cantrelle, 86, passed away Sunday/Aug. 24, 2014.

He was a native and resident of Lutcher.

He is survived by his sons Karl Cantrelle and wife, Pamela, and Eric Cantrelle; daughter Nancy Elizabeth Cantrelle-Laiche and husband Damian; and brother Warren Cantrelle.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Ashley Marie Cantrelle, Alexander Damian Laiche, Connor Fortune′ Cantrelle, Seth Gerald Laiche and Remy Taylor Cantrelle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Williams Cantrelle; parents Fortune’ Cantrelle and Odile Gabb Cantrelle; brother Francis Gerald Cantrelle; and sisters Freida Cantrelle and Marie Angela Cantrelle.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday/Aug. 27 at Rose Lynn Funeral Home, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher.

Visitation will resume from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
