LULING — The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of the River Parishes will sponsor an informational session on emergency preparedness from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 20 at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center, 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling.

The event is free and open to the public.

Presentations are planned from the St. Charles Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Prepared-ness, the Southeast Louisiana chapter of the American Red Cross and the St. Charles Parish Public Information Office will be included.
