Milton E. “Bud” Besch Jr. was born Sept. 20, 1926, in San Antonio, Texas, and died July 10, 2014, in Clermont, Fla.

He was a resident of LaPlace over 48 years. He worked in the Airline Industry for over 50 years and loved to travel.

Besch’s military Service included service in the U.S. Navy World War II “Pacific Fleet.”

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by Helen Joyce (Berry), a loving wife of 65 years; children Philip Sr., Patrick and Phyl Elaine Schuster; grandchildren Kandi Alexander, Julia Besch, Philip Besch Jr., Lea Stephens, Bonnie Almon and Becky Fitch and great grandchildren Ashley, Holly, Derek, Zachary, Ethan, Chelcee, Kassidy, Jordan, Peyton, Marissa and Philip Anthony.

He left many friends behind in the LaPlace area.

Internment was July 14, 2014, in Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka, Fla.
