RESERVE — Food, fun and of course fireworks were all on the agenda for Thursday night’s 14th annual Independence Day Celebration Along The River.

The 6 to 9:30 p.m. celebration took place on both sides of the river, with east bank festivities held at St. Peter Catholic Church and the west bank celebration taking place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

J&M Displays presented the 20-minute firework show at a cost of $25,955, which was paid out of the parish’s Economic Development fund.
