LULING — The St. Charles Humane Society is hosting its second annual “Christmas in July” online fundraising auction to benefit the medical needs of homeless pets at the St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter.

The auction can be accessed by logging on to Facebook and visiting the St. Charles Humane Society page at facebook.com/St.CharlesHumaneSociety.

Auction items are located in a photo album on the page.

Several dog and cat items are up for bid, and minimum bids begin at $5. Bidding is open until 8 p.m. July 15.

Winners will be notified via private message and are responsible for picking items up at the animal shelter, located at 921 Rue La Cannes Drive in Luling.

In order to pick up, winners must bring cash or check to pay for the item and a photo ID.

Checks should be made payable to St. Charles Humane Society.
