CONVENT — A Gramercy man was arrested last week for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a minor.

Travis Coupel, 21, of Gramercy was arrested June 6 and booked with carnal knowledge of a juvenile by the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Lt. Claude Louis said Coupel bonded out of jail June 8 on a $40,000 bond. He said it was Coupel’s first time to be arrested on the charge.
