During May, St. Charles Catholic High School celebrated mothers.

By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to a certain devotion. In May, it was dedicated to the Blessed Mary.

The entire SCC student body participated in a beautiful Living Rosary last month in honor of Mary.

This year’s May event featured a Mother-Daughter Paint Party. SCC mothers and their daughters came out to enjoy an evening of painting, snowballs, great food, raffle prizes and, most importantly, an opportunity to spend quality time with their daughters and fellow SCC moms.

SCC alumni and owner of the Purple Penguin Art Company, Stephanie Donaldson led the mothers and daughters as they painted colorful snowcones on large canvases.

The Roussels arrived in their Rou’s Southern Snow Traveling Snow Machine and provided snowballs to all guests.
