River Parishes Hospital recently announced art winners as Emma Poché, bottom, a student at Paulina Elementary School, and Lanie Hymel, top, a student at Riverside Academy.

Each student was awarded a blue ribbon, a $20 deposit certificate and other treats compliments of River Parishes Hospital and the Louisiana Federal Credit Union.

The Young At Art Program is a class project for schools in the River Parishes area. It is a free community program, compliments of River Parishes Hospital and the Louisiana Federal Credit Union. Classes are displayed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested teachers may call 985-653-1644.
