NORCO — The River Region Ballet is hosting a night of painting fun from 6 to 8 p.m. June 13 at the River Region Performing Arts and Cultural Center, 15146 River Road in Norco.

Artist Shelley Keller will be guiding participants through a painting master piece.

Keller has a BFA from Tulane University and has painted many murals in the schools around Destrehan. She also designs sets and costumes for the RRB.

Currently, she is teaching art at St. Charles Borromeo. 

All skill levels and ages are welcome. The class fee is $25 per person, and all supplies are provided.

“Canvas and Cookies” promises to be fun and entertaining. RRB specifically wants to encourage a mother/daughter paint night.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m.. Bring your own cookies to share. Punch will be provided.
