Shirley Remondet Duhe, a resident of LaPlace, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2014, at 4:50 p.m.

She was the wife of the late Lawrence “John” Duhe. Shirley was born on February 6, 1935, to the late Harry Remondet and Victorene Oubre Remondet.

She was the sister of the late Hubert, Albert, Gurney, Harry, Garland and Daniel Remondet.

She is survived by her daughters Kerry Cella, Connie Vicknair and her son, Larry Duhe (Katy). She is also survived by her brother, Junior Remondet (Regina), and her sister Doris Rodrigue (Joe).

She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: John, Johnny, and Ronnie Duhe; Lil Ray and Ashley Cella; Lil Steven and Megan Vicknair; great-grandchildren: Cohen, Nathan and Johnny Duhe Jr., and Kinzie Trosclair.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 9, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John Memorial Gardens.
