The Rotary Club of LaPlace presented three local students from St. John the Baptist Parish the Allene Gregoire Memorial Scholarship. Each recipient received $1,000 for her continuing education. Pictured is Beverly Harris, Eden Keller of East St. John High School, Ariel Mitchell of West St. John High School, Judy Chen of East St. John High School and Betty Martin. Keller and Mitchell plan to attend Xavier University, while Chen will attend Tulane University.
