Matthew Paul Daigle, 48, was born Oct. 31, 1965, and passed away May 20, 2014.
He was a native of Gramercy and a resident of Lutcher.
He is survived by his mother and father, John and Mary Ann Troxclair Daigle; his son, Joshua B. Adams; grandchildren: Bradley C. and Benjamin P. Adams; brothers: Glen Michael, and Mark Anthony Daigle.
He is also survived by his nephew, Austin Paul Daigle; as well as aunts, uncles and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Waldo J. Daigle and Norma Elfer Daigle; his maternal grandparents: Ernest S. Troxclair Sr., and Lillie Miller Troxclair.
Matthew served in the U.S. Navy on nuclear submarines for 12 years and retired with the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class.
He was a licensed nuclear plant senior reactor operator at Waterford 3 for 19 years.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 25, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher.
Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, May 26, 2014, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy.
