Some of the most popular items in the silent auction at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish Fair are the one-of-a-kind events, like being “Teacher for a Day.” This year Anna Guidry was the top bidder and spent the day as a teacher. Anna, right, signed a contract from Principal Larry Bourgeois, left, before taking over Emma Vicknair’s classroom.  She helped the students review for an upcoming test by playing a learning game with them. Throughout her classes she enjoyed taking roll and checking assignments.
