Hailey Louque, left, and Miranda Hotard, right, competed on the school and regional social studies fair levels before qualifying for the state competition. Only one student could present the project on the state level so Hailey attended the fair, where the project on Tabasco placed fifth in the history division. More than 600 projects were presented during the competition.
