Tulane football player Devon Walker, No. 18, throws his hands in the air during a game against Southeastern Louisiana University. Walker suffered a devastating injury in 2012, breaking his neck and severing part of his spinal cord. Walker did not let the injury sideline him in life, as the Destrehan resident is scheduled to graduate today from Tulane with a bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology.
