Staff Achievement Awards ceremony held

The Staff Achievement Awards Program strives to honor staff members who are the keys to district success, who do an outstanding job in supporting students, motivating students or colleagues, and demonstrate commitment, dedication and excellence.

One staff member from nine categories was selected for recognition, including child nutrition services, physical plant services, professional/technical, school administrative support, school support, secretarial/clerical, specialist educator, substitute staff and transportation.

Staff members, parents, students and community members submitted 88 nominations this year.

Nominees were required to have been employed by the St. Charles Parish Public School System for at least three years, and a committee of district employees made the selections.

Each Staff Achievement Award Winner was presented an award and a check for $100. All employees who were nominated will receive a pin in the shape of a key. 

School district officials hope all the nominees will proudly wear these pins on their lapels or lanyards to inspire their colleagues to unlock the excellence within themselves and others.
