The Port of South Louisiana board recently elected D. Paul Robichaux as president for 2014-2015.

Elections were also held to fill the remaining positions of the Port’s governing panel.

Joseph Scontrino, representing St. John Parish, was selected executive vice president.

Former President P. Joey Murray, the governor’s at-large appointee representing St. Charles, St. John, and St. James Parishes, will serve as treasurer and St. James Parish representative Stanley Bazile will serve as secretary.

J. Raymond Fryoux, Louis A. Joseph and Robert “Poncho” Roussel will function as vice presidents.

All positions are elected for one-year terms.
