Yvonne’s Directions In Dance is celebrating its 27th anniversary this year and top 10 ad winners and court members were recently announced.

The top 10 ad winners and court members will be presented on Sunday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. at the annual Fun and Games recital held at the W. J. Harang, Jr., Municipal Auditorium in Thibodaux.

Faith Madere, daugh      ter of Jennifer and Davis Madere of Paulina, is the 2014 Cov     er Girl and first place ad winner.

Second place ad winner and cover girl runner up is Paiton Jarrow, daughter of Rev. Ulysses & Dr. SchuyLer Jarrow of Gramercy.

Third Place ad winner is Alexia Perkins, daughter of Alejandro “Al” & Dina Perkins of Paulina.

Fourth place ad winner is Emma Guzman, daughter of Bill and Erika Guzman of Pau lina.

Fifth Place ad winners are Mikayla & Ella Forsythe, daughters of Brett & Monica Forsythe of Paulina.

Sixth place ad winners are Madelyn & Mallory Martin, daughters of Jen and Chris Martin of Reserve.

Seventh place ad winner is Baylee Badeaux, daughter of Meah & T. J. Badeaux of Vacherie.

Eighth place ad winner is Carli Bourgeois, daughter of Lori & Stan Bourgeois of Pau   lina.

Ninth place ad winner is Tierney Zenon, daughter of Tyson Col lins & LaRon Zenon of Vacherie.

Tenth place ad winners are Kate & Korryn LeBlanc, daughters of Dr. Michelle and Ken LeBlanc of Paulina.

Competition Results

The 2013-2014 Yvonne’s Directions In Dance Com pany members have had an incredible competition season so far. They have competed in regional competitions in Baton Rouge, Hammond and Biloxi, Miss., and will attend their final regional event in Chalmette in May after their annual dance recital.

Along with attending dance competitions, the company also participated in community events and performances including the Lions Club pumpkin patch, Chateau St. James Rehab and Retirement Center and the Festival of the Bonfires.

The Lions Club presented YDID with a beautiful plaque in appreciation of their continued community service.
