Paulina Elementary announces its Shining Star students

Paulina Elementary School announces its Shining Star Students for the third nine weeks.

These students were selected by their teachers based on positive character traits they displayed. These traits are having a positive attitude about learning, displaying leadership and responsibility among their peers, having a good work ethic and discipline, as well as regular school attendance and classroom participation. The PES Shining Stars for the third nine weeks are:

Pre-K: Piper Cuquet, Parker Millet, Teyona Jones, Hollis Washington ; Kindergarten: De’Shiya Williams, Santiago Romero, Jacob Lear, Chase Oubre, Avia Simoneaux; First Grade: Jade Landry, Nela White, Ethan Weber, Brayden Louque; Second Grade: Luke Babin, Blair Ursin, Ashley Allen, Emma Roussel; Third Grade: Zyion Johnson, Paige St. Pierre, Kaitlyn Richard, Olivia Bourgeois, Landen Sheppard; Fourth Grade: Javeonte Johnson, Alonah Felton, Nia Allen, Noel White; Fifth Grade: Kyle St. Pierre, Malorie Hymel, Shay Naquin, Laylen McComack; Sixth Grade: Matty Poche, Zachary Duhe, Kami Hymel, Sarah McAllister.

Students were presented with a certificate and yard sign and will be invited to a special reception in their honor at the end of the school year.
