Bonnie Palermo, 56, died peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2014. She was born on Jan. 7, 1958, in New Orleans.

She was the beloved mother of Adam Strup peck, daughter of the late Carlo Palermo Sr. and Constance Nezat (Connie) Palermo, sister of Carlo Palermo Jr. (Blanche), Vincent Palermo (Alice), Cheryl P. Burger, Gina Perrin (Sammy) and the late Julian, Johnny, Anthony and Benny Palermo.

Her smiling face and generous heart will be missed by her nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Charity School of Nurs ing. She took great pride in her nursing care. She cared for all her patients as if they were her family.

She was a native of Reserve and a resident of Harahan.

Visitation and services were held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve. Arrangements were by Millet-Guidry Funeral of LaPlace.
