Helene Duc Madere, 95, died Sunday, April 13, 2014.

She was the beloved wife of the late Camille Madere and mother of Pierre, Jacques and Lillian Madere and Marie Coulon. She also had eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was the sister of Charlotte Rippe.

She was a native of France and a resident of LaPlace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by religious services in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery in LaPlace.
