St. John redistricting public hearing Tuesday

LAPLACE – In re sponse to the St. John the Baptist Parish School Board conducting a public hearing on April 15 regarding redistricting the 11 single-member school board election districts, drafts of the three possible redistricting plans are now available for pubic viewing in the School Board office and in each parish library location.
The goal of redistricting is to create 11 districts that contain approximately equal population.
Draft redistricting plans will be available for public viewing and public comment at the public hearing, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, at 5 p.m. at the School Board
Meeting Room, 1600 River Road in Reserve.
