Clyde M. Madere Sr., 70, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014.

He was the former husband of the late Betty Tassin Madere, father of Christine M. Torres (Kevin), Danette M. Brignac (Ricky), Clyde Madere Jr. (Ellen) and Stephen Madere (Tina), grandfather of Christopher (Grace), Ross, Chelsey (Adam), Emily, Matthew, Cameron, William, Tristan, Savannah, Nicholas and Kortni, son of the late Antoine (Davant) and Gerdie Clement Madere and brother of Tony (Anne) and Warren (Rachael) Madere, Patty Watson (Jerry), Arlene Entremont (Joel) and Yvonne Rongey (Jimmy).

He was a native and resident of LaPlace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1809 Greenwood Drive, LaPlace, on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John Memorial Gardens in LaPlace. Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
