The St. Charles Catholic High School Starsteppers competed in the American All-Star Louisiana State Dance Competition in Lafayette. The Starsteppers received third place in Division 1 for their Jazz and Kick routines, and they received second place for their Prop/Novelty routine in their division as well. Their Prop/Novelty routine also placed fifth overall in the state.

Christine Klibert Creppel, the group’s sponsor, said, “The Starsteppers are looking forward to performing again in February at the National Competition.”
