ZERINGUE

Joseph B. Zeringue, 93, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014. He was a resident of Gramercy and a native of Burnside.  

He is survived by his daughter, JoAnn Z. Zeringue, and son-in-law, Thomas A. Zeringue, of Labadieville and one brother, Eldrige “Gee” Zeringue. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Tommy J. Zeringue of Labadieville and Tammy M. Benoit and husband Michael P. Benoit of Thibodaux, as well as three great-grandchildren, Star Carter and Skylynn and Sunnie Zeringue.  

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Marie Hymel Zeringue, daughter Constance “Connie” Zeringue, son Stanley “Bud” Zeringue, parents, Rene Zeringue and Irene Brou Zeringue, sister Beatrice Z. Jacob and brothers Herman J. Zeringue, Norman P. Zeringue, Ralph J. Zeringue and Rene “Boonie” J. Zeringue.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Church Mausoleum in Paulina.
