Willie O. Sellars Jr., 90, died on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, from complications of a heart attack.

He was the beloved husband of the late Elsie Harris Sellars and father of Glenn Sellars (Kathy), Patrick Sellars (Billie) and William Sellars. He also had 12 grandchildren, one deceased, and 21 great-grandchildren.

Son of the late Will and Bessy Willoughby Sellars.

He served in the Army Aircorp during WWII, met and married Elsie Mae Harris in England, came back to the USA and raised three sons with a very firm but loving hand. We had a good father and we are blessed.

He was a native of North Caroline and a resident of LaPlace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.,followed by religious services in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John Memorial Gardens in LaPlace.
