Elsie Giroir D’Arensbourg, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. She was a native of Reserve and a current resident of Gramercy.

She is survived by her daughter Janis and son-in-law Tony Calcagno of Gramercy, brother John Kirby Giroir and wife Grace of Norco and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard D’Arensbourg, parents,  Ida and Alcee’ Giroir, and sisters, Alice Mae Hymel and Myrtle Torres.  

Visi-tation and services were held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014. Interment followed in St. Peter Cemetery. Rose Lynn Funeral Services of Lutcher was in charge of arrangements. To sign and view the family guestbook, visit www.roselynnfuneralhome.com.
