Vivian F. Rochelle, 100, died on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Poche Rochelle, sister of the late George, William, Joseph and Lucette Rochelle, Therese Guillot, Blanche Robicheaux, Nola Weaver and Norma, Lucille and Aline Rochelle, devoted and beloved aunt of Joyce Zehnle, Charles, Robert, Francis and David Robicheaux, Norma Jaubert, Bruce and Marion Rochelle, Verna Simoneaux, Joan Becnel, Mike Weaver, Ann Montgomery, Gary Rochelle, Marilyn Snapp, Joseph, Thomas and Mike Rochelle, Janet Bagley, Judy Ochsner and the late Nolan and Wendell Rochelle and Linda Melancon and special friend of Joe Juneau.

She retired from Wesco Paints and St. Charles Parish Waterworks. She was a native of Paulina, a former resident of Good Hope and a resident of LaPlace.

Visitation and services were held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. Burial followed in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. The family extends special thanks to her caregivers, Rona Wiltz, Donita Borne and the entire staff of Ormond Nursing Facility. Arrangements were by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
