LAPLACE – With permission from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, the Interstate 10 east and westbound off-ramps at Belle Terre exit 206 will be closed at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, to 4 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 and again at 8 p.m. on Feb. 6 to 4 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, for a movie filming. The ramps will be closed to all traffic during this time.

In addition to these closures, intermittent I-10 off-ramp closures may take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6.

Emergency responders, including firefighters, Acadian Ambulance Services and sheriff’s deputies are aware of the road closures and have developed alternate plans for response.

Please use caution when driving through the area at this time and be on the lookout for electronic boards and detour signs. Please expect helicopters near the interstate during filming.
