RESERVE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help regarding a recent Reserve shooting.

On Feb. 1 at 4:46 p.m., St. John Parish deputies responded to

the 200 block of East 13th Street in Reserve for the report of a shooting.

When deputies arrived, they located

a 17-year-old male

subject from East

27th Street in Reserve who had a gunshot wound to his upper right leg.

The victim was conscious and was transported to a New Orleans area hospital for treatment.

When questioned by investigators, the victim refused to provide any information on how the shooting occurred. With little information forthcoming from the victim, detectives encourage anyone
