Marie “Mickey” Waguespack Rome, 94, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Delphine and Louis Waguespack, wife of the late Fredrick Joseph Rome Sr., sister of Edmund and Norman Waguespack and the late George, Hubert, Louis and Fredrick Waguespack, Mabel Webre and Winnie Blanyer and mother of Edna R. Vitrano and husband, Norman, and Fredrick Rome Jr.

She is lovingly survived by her grandchildren, Gary (Judy), Pam and David Vitrano, and great-grandchildren, Shannon and Camille Vitrano.

Relatives and friends of the family and employees of Lacombe Nursing Center are invited to attend the funeral. Services will be held atHonaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
