Each year, the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District conducts a Christmas Card Contest for all students in its schools.
The winning cards from each category were printed and were used by the school district to spread holiday cheer this year. The winners were recognized at St. John the Baptist Parish School Board meeting. They were:
• Kindergarten – fourth grade: Norelle Frank, East St. John Elementary School, third grade
• Fifth – eighth grade: Kaley Clayton, East St. John Elementary School, eighth grade
• Ninth – 12th grade: Lori Chen, East St. John High School, 10th grade
