For eight years, Deputy Jeff Watson was devoted to protecting and serving St. Charles Parish, but on Aug. 4, 2013, while responding to a disturbance, Watson was involved in a fatal vehicle accident.
Watson left behind a loving family who are still in need of our support.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting a benefit for the family of Watson on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Jerusalem’s Shriner’s Hall in Destrehan. This fundraiser will include a silent auction, along with music by “The Soul Acoustic.” Tickets are $25 and will include food and setups.  There will also be a cash bar with beer and wine.
