Iris Savoie Oubre, 92, passed away Nov. 13, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Gramercy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Oubre, her parents, Nelson Sr. and Nemea Savoie, her brother, Nelson Jr., and her sister and brother-in-law, Cleta S. and Jim Weidman.
She is survived by her daughter Judy and husband Ronald A. St. Pierre, grandsons R.J. (Tammy) St. Pierre, and John Michael (Joy) St. Pierre, four great-grandchildren, Joey (Lindsey) St. Pierre, Corey (Erin) St. Pierre, April St. Pierre and Preston St. Pierre, and one great-great-grandchild, Abigail St. Pierre.
Visitation will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy on Nov. 15, 2013, from 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
