Virginia Baylor Malik, 79, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of the late Judge Thomas J. Malik and mother of Anne Grindy (Scott), Sylvia Robine (David), John Malik (Amy), Thomas Malik (Melissa) and Barbara Weller (Garald). She also had eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Tom and Blanch Woods Baylor and sister of Anne Kleckner.
She was a graduate of Hotel Dieu School of Nursing. She was a native of Carrizo Springs, Texas, and resident of LaPlace.
Relative and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation
will be held at St.
Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, on Friday Oct. 18,
2013, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John The Baptist Cemetery in Edgard. Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
