RRAHC presents local artist Courtney Boe

The River Region Arts & Humanities Council or “RRAHC” presents a local artist in an upcoming performance, “Courtney Boe Sings …….. Favorite Songs from Broadway & the Silver Screen.” Boe is from New Orleans and LaPlace.
Currently, she is working on her bachelor degree in history at the University of New Orleans. Boe is a former character performer at Walt Disney World in Orlando. She studied dance at the New Orleans Ballet Association, the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and The Metropolitan Dance Studio. Since 2010, she has been with the National World War II’s Victory Belle Troupe.
As a Victory Belle, Boe has traveled to Guam and Hawaii with the USO as well as many states performing for active duty military, veterans and even the New Orleans Saints. She has agreed to perform at Ormond Plantation, River Road, Destrehan, the evening of Saturday, Oct. 26.  
Doors will open at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and her performance begins at 7:30 p.m. RRAHC’s event committee is working on a setup for viewing the performance as a “vintage supper club” where attendees will dine and enjoy Boe’s performance.
RRAHC cordially invites its members and the general public to purchase tickets. Tickets are $100 per person for “Elite Ring” seating, $50 per person for “Second Ring” seating and $35 per person for “Third Ring” seating. No tickets sold at the door. Ticket purchase includes a complimentary cocktail upon arrival to the performance, dinner and a cash bar. The seating is limited, so purchase your tickets in advance.
