Hahnville back on track, downs Terrebonne 22-7

LAPLACE – Hahnville bounced back from a lopsided loss to rival Destrehan with a decisive win of its own, a 22-7 District 7-5A victory on the road at Terrebonne. 
Hahnville’s Eric Gilmore put his team ahead early on a defensive score, a fumble recovery in the endzone late in the first quarter.
HHS pushed the lead to 15-0 on Todge Scott’s 30-yard run for a score, after Scott picked up a fumble by Hahnville quarterback Logan Martindale. 
Lynn Simmons’ 49-yard score in the second half made it 22-0 and all but put things away. Simmons rushed for 115 yards on 21 carries while Scott finished with 111 yards on 14 carries. 
Hahnville evened its record at 3-3 overall, 2-1 in district. Terrebonne dropped to 3-3 overall, 0-3 in district.
