LAPLACE – Five men, including three from LaPlace, were arrested Thursday evening during an undercover solicitation operation conducted by the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office at a local hotel.
The men solicited sex from a female undercover officer posing as a prostitute.
All five men were arrested and slapped with solicitation charges. The arrestees were: Randall Nova, 28, and Shannon A. Wilson, 47, both of Cambridge Drive in LaPlace; Marlon Green, 27, of Betsy Ross Court in LaPlace; Russell Lucito, 36, of East Illinois Street in Hammond; and Shawn Smith, 28, of St. Roch Avenue in New Orleans.
All suspects have since been released from jail.
