The Wildcats meet the Mouse

East St. John High School football team members recently attended the inaugural Drew Brees Passing Academy and 7-on-7 Tournament at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. The three-day event that began June 27 provided players with position-based instructional sessions with professional football players, as well as 7-on-7 sessions against other high school teams.The players’ trip, including rooms, transportation, food and access to Disney, was funded by the Brees Dream Foundation, which decided to sponsor the team after learning of the challenges the school faced following Hurricane Isaac.
