Kathleen Simoneaux Richard, 81, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
She was the wife of Charles Richard and mother of David, Roger, Terry and Kent Richard, Kitty Villeret and the late Marsha Roussel. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Elmire Simoneaux and sister of Sheldon Simoneaux, Yolande Brignac and the late E.T., Millard and Wayne Simoneaux, Julie Gibson and Icky Guedry.
She was a native of Reserve and a resident of Springfield.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Friday, July 19, 2013, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
