LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish President Natalie Robottom, her administrative staff, and State Rep. Randal Gaines joined Take 5 Oil Change President Peter Fray for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new service center in LaPlace.
Take 5 serviced 33 vehicles on the first day. Take 5 Oil Change in LaPlace is one of 33 locations in the United States. The center offers a full-service oil change in five minutes without the customer having to leave the vehicle. A standard full-service oil change includes replacing the engine oil and filter, adjusting the tire pressure, checking the fluids, washing windows and inspecting wiper blades. Take 5 also performs other common automotive services such as brake jobs, tune-ups and muffler replacements.
“We were very pleased with how the first day went,” said Fray.
Take 5 employees, family and friends, as well as representatives from the River Region Chamber of Commerce were also on hand for the ceremony. The grand opening included goodies, food and refreshments for all attendees.
“We are pleased that Take 5 elected to locate in LaPlace, and welcome them to St. John the Baptist Parish. Because they’ve completed over 30 stores, there was little difficulty completing this project. We wish
Mr. Fray and the Take 5 staff the best of luck as they begin their new operation,” said Robottom.
