The 2012-13 Performing Arts Dance Center dance company recently completed a terrific competition year. After attending five regional dance competitions (New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Mobile, Ala.) and Circuit Tour dance convention, the dance company also danced for their community at Relay for Life.
The Dance Company was awarded the Sportsmanship Award at Dance Magic in Mobile. This is awarded to the studio that reflects the best attitude toward other studios and performers during the competition. They were also awarded the “Top Primary Dance Studio” at Kids Artistic Revue in Baton Rouge.
The 2012-13 Dance Company members are Aliyah Manson, Karen Trichell, Madison Eugene, Mallory Waguespack, Corinne Poussard, Paige Morales, Alissa Stutzman, Chloe Genovese, Katelyn Duhe, Imani Wilson, Kirstin Wilson, Rowan Poussard, Ashlyn Woods, Cameron Price, Kaitlin Mizell, Jeanne Ledet, Madison Tassin, Ally Lemoine, Lauren Trichell, Haylee Guidry, Donavan Brooks, Janie Bourgeois, Jessica Hebert, Amanda Riviere, Alexis DiBuono, Blair Andrepont, Ashley Seiser, Victoria St. Martin and Stephanie Richardson.
The dance company will perform in Performing Arts Dance Center’s annual dance recital held on Saturday, June 8 at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre of Performing Arts.
